Playing Strategies (Complex)
Here, you select more complex strategies.
Options
Ø Attach a Strategy - This button is used to enter the strategy selection screen. Any predefined or user strategy can be selected. Use Define/Edit Strategies to create a user strategy.
Ø Attach a SC Strategy - You can also attach a side count strategy. Such strategies side count cards and use Multi-Parameter tables to adjust the True Count for a higher playing efficiency. Use Define/Edit Strategies to create a user MP strategy.
Ø Attach Inference Tables - You can also attach a Counting by Inference Strategy. Such strategies allow the estimation of unseen cards in Face Down games. Use Define/Edit Strategies to create a user Inference strategy. Further explanation can be seen in the Counting by Inference Strategies section.
Ø Attach Hole Carding Strategies - Hole-carding strategies are very different since they need to look at both dealer cards instead of just the upward. If you are hole-carding, you can use from one to three different strategies. You could just select a hole-carding strategy as the primary strategy. But, it would not work for those times that you did not see the dealer downward. So, select a normal strategy (counting or basic) as the primary strategy. Then select a hole-carding strategy for HC High. This is the strategy that will be used when the dealer upward is a 7, 8, 9, 10 or Ace. Select another hole-carding strategy for HC Low. If you select only a High strategy it will be used for both dealer high cards and low cards. However, this will look suspicious. CV will switch between strategies depending on the dealer upward and if you had a chance to peek at the downward.
Ø Clear - Un-attach the selected strategy
Ø Define/Edit Strategies - If you wish, you can define your own strategies.
Ø Display Tables - The index tables for the current strategy are displayed according to the current rules. You cannot edit a strategy by using this button. Use the Define/Edit Strategies button.
Ø Assemble Multi-Strategy - You can create a strategy that combines other strategies and switches strategies at defined deck depths. Generally, this is used to change indexes at different sections of the shoe and is a technique more often used in unbalanced counts to improve playing efficiency. Once a Multi-Strategy has been created, use the Display Tables button to modify it.
Ø Ace Side Count - In addition to any other counts, you can set this option to side count Aces to improve either playing or betting counts. This is described in the section on Side Counts
Ø Insurance Side Count - In addition to any other counts, you can set this option to side count Tens versus non-Tens for a perfect Insurance Count. This is described in the section on Side Counts
