CVShuffle Create/Open
Here shuffle files are maintained. Enter by clicking New/Open from the CVShuffle main screen. Shuffles are displayed in Explorer-like format with the included shuffles and user defined shuffles placed in separate folders.
BJAP1 and BJAP2 are shuffles from the book Blackjack Ace Prediction by David McDowell. This book provides a simplified method of single key card Ace Sequencing. BJAP1 is a one-pass, four-pile, criss-cross R&R. BJAP2 is a two-pass, stepladder/R&R combo.
Ø Open - Click on a shuffle and then Open to select a shuffle. The shuffle can now be edited, mapped or used in play.
Ø New - To create a new shuffle, click on and old shuffle, enter a name at the bottom of the screen and click New. A new shuffle will be created that looks like the selected shuffle. You can then modify it or clear it and define it any way you wish.
Ø Alternate - You can also select an alternate shuffle. This is only used during the play of the game. When two shuffles are selected, the game randomly selects one. However, the main shuffle is the one displayed by the shuffle mapping tool and the CVShuffle main screen. To select a main and alternate shuffle, select the Alternate first by clicking on the shuffle and hitting Alternate. Then select the main shuffle by clicking on it and hitting Open. During play, each shuffle has a 50% chance of being selected.
Ø Rename - Click on a shuffle and Rename to change the name.
Ø Delete - Click on a shuffle and Delete to permanently remove the shuffle.
Ø Import - Click on Import to load a shuffle that you have downloaded or received by e-mail into the list of shuffles.
Ø Export - Click on a shuffle and Export if you wish to send it to someone else.
