CVShuffle Ace Sequencing/Tracking

Features related to Ace sequencing are discussed here. This is a very advanced area of Blackjack card counting. The general concept is the tracking of single valuable cards as opposed to segments of positive or negative cards.

Tracking Aces

To observe the flow of Aces, the following changes have been made:

Ø Marking Cards - If you see an Ace that you wish to track, right-click on it and select Mark Ace. Note: any card can be marked, not just Aces. You can click on any card in any hand any time it is not in motion. The game will pause while you are doing this. Note: This option only exists if you have shuffle tracking turned on.

Ø Key Cards - By moving the mouse over the Cards button in the bottom right hand of the screen, you will see the CVShuffle Pop-Up Options. Set the number of keycards that you wish to track here. Key cards are the cards that will be placed in the discard tray just before the Marked card and will provide clues as to the location of the Marked card during play after the shuffle.

Ø Discard Tray Pop Up - You can see the Discard Pop Up by moving the mouse to the left of the screen or over the CVShuffle Pop Ups button (Cards button.) If you select the Show Marked Cards option, Marked cards will be displayed in the Tray Pop Up in red. Key cards will be displayed in green. They will also be displayed in the magnifier.

Ø Shoe Pop Ups - Marked and Key cards will also be displayed in the Shoe Pop Up and its magnifier to show the location of these cards after the shuffle and cut.

Ø Cut Card Screen - When you cut the cards and hit the Examine button, the Cut Card screen options will be displayed. If you select the Show Marked Cards option, the marked and key cards will be displayed in red and green respectively. These cards will be displayed pre and post cut to show card locations.

Ø Card Marks - If you have the Show Card Marks option selected in the CVShuffle Pop Up Options, the actual Marked and Key cards will have marks on them when displayed. This should be turned on while you are learning about the flow of marked cards - but turned off when you are testing yourself.

Testing Yourself

Once you have marked Aces, and shuffled and cut the cards, now comes the tricky part - recognizing key cards and knowing when a marked Ace is about to appear. By turning off all of the display options, you can test yourself. When you see a Marked or Key card, right-click on it. If you are correct, the right-click pop-up will indicate that it is a marked or key card.
