Blackjack Betting Strategy - Sit Out

Wonging, or back-counting, refers to the practice of only playing a portion of the rounds. You can click on the Sit Out button on the tool bar from either a Basic or Advanced Strategy. You can also sit out specified hands to limit the stats to a section of the shoe. Parameters follow:

Start Play and Stop Play @ - These parameters define when the player jumps into and out of a game. Settings include:

Ø Off - Player plays all rounds. Note: If either Start Play or Stop Play is set to OFF, then both must be set to OFF.

Ø Shuffle - Player starts or stops playing immediately after a shuffle. Note: Start Play and Stop Play cannot both be set to Shuffle.

Ø Hand - The player starts or stops at a specific deck depth. The number refers to the first or last round played in each shoe. So, if you set Start @ to Hand 5 and Stop @ to Shuffle, the player will never play the first four rounds after a shuffle.

Ø Running Count - The player jumps in when the Running Card Count reaches a specified value or jumps out when it drops below a specified value.

Ø True Count - The player jumps in when the True Count reaches a specified value or jumps out when it drops below a specified value. True Counts can be specified in half-counts if the 'True Edge' option is set on for this player.

Ø Enter shoe multiple times - Normally, once you leave a shoe you do not play any hands until a shuffle. This option allows shoe reentry if the Start Play setting is again satisfied.
