Strategy Comparisons

Single-Deck Bet spreads in this chart were 1-2 and 1-4. Single-deck again sees Hi-Opt II the winner except when Halves takes over at very deep penetrations — penetrations not often seen these days. Below these, Zen in blue and AOII are very close. This is remarkable considering that AOII uses an ace side count. Down the line, we see RPC in yellow, UBZ II in green and REKO in crimson, changing their places depending on penetration. The reason that REKO, a level I strategy with compromise indexes, performs so well here is that it has 20 indexes instead of 16 in single-deck. However, they are not indexes in the classic sense since they all have one value (+2) making them easy to remember. A bit below these, we see FELT in cyan, and then yet a bit further, Mentor in red. Next down the line is Hi-Opt I in black. This is a level I strategy, but it does have a side count. The side count is easier to handle in single-deck than shoes, but still a substantial complication. Dropping further down, we see Hi-Lo, the industry standard, and then KISS III at the bottom. KISS III is more suited to shoes. KISS II, not pictured here, is more suited to pitch games.
