- Canfield Expert A simple,
Level 1, balanced card counting strategy optimized for Playing Efficiency
found in Richard Canfield's Blackjack Your Way to Riches, Carol
Publishing Group, 1977, rev. 1994.
- Canfield Master A proprietary,
advanced, Level 2, balanced Blackjack strategy available from Canfield
Associates since the mid-70's.
- Hi-Lo The Hi-Lo Blackjack
strategy is a Level 1, balanced strategy optimized for Betting originally
created by Harvey Dubner in 1963. The Hi-Lo strategy was later refined
by Julian Braun, published by Edward Thorp and refined again by Stanford
Wong. In CV, Wong's Hi-Lo strategy is used as published in Professional
Blackjack, Pi Yee Press, 1975, rev. 1994.
- Hi-Opt I A simple, Level
1, balanced strategy developed by Lance Humble and Carl Cooper. This
strategy was built on the Einstein count developed by Charles Einstein
in the late 60's. The current version can be found in The World's
Greatest Blackjack Book, Doubleday & Company, 1980 by Lance
Humble and Carl Cooper.
- Hi-Opt II
A more complex, Level 2, balanced strategy developed by
Lance Humble and Julian Braun. Found to be more powerful than even some
Level 3 card counting strategies. (See Blackjack Attack.)
- KISS Easy, yet powerful,
unbalanced strategies found in Blackjack Bluebook II by Fred
Renzey, Blackjack Mentor Press, 2003.
- KO KO stands for Knock
Out Blackjack and also Ken and Olaf, the designers of the KO Count.
A very easy, yet powerful, unbalanced strategy optimized for betting.
Becoming one of the most popular card counting systems and probably
the easiest of Blackjack strategies. Described in Olaf Vancura and Ken
Fuchs book Knock-Out Blackjack, Isochoric Publishing, 1996.
- Mentor Level II balanced
strategy suitable for shoes or pitch games found in Blackjack Bluebook
II by Fred Renzey, Blackjack Mentor Press, 2003.
- Omega II An advanced, Level
2, balanced strategy with a large number of indexes similar to Canfield
Master. An Ace side count improves betting efficiency. It can be found
in Bryce Carlson's Blackjack for Blood, CompuStar Press, 1992,
rev. 1994.
- Red Seven
A Level 1+, unbalanced card counting technique optimized
for betting found in Arnold Snyder's Blackbelt in Blackjack.
Another one of the easy Blackjack strategies. RGE Publishing, 1983.
- REKO A simplified version
of KO available on this site at REKO Strategy.
- Revere Advanced Plus-Minus
A Level 1, balanced strategy found in Lawrence Revere's Playing Blackjack
as a Business, Lyle Stuart, 1980.
- Revere Point Count An advanced,
Level 2, balanced strategy optimized for betting. Revere created many
Blackjack strategies. I believe this to be his best and one of the best
overall of card counting strategies for shoes.
- Revere RAPC and 14 Count
These proprietary strategies are still sold by Revere's family. However
they are very complex and little used these days.
- Silver Fox A Level 1, balanced
strategy optimized for betting. This is an inexpensive, proprietary
system similar to the Green Fountain Count and described in The Silver
Fox Blackjack System by Ralph Stricker.
- Unbalanced Zen 11 A simple,
Level 2, unbalanced card counting system optimized for betting. This
is an inexpensive, proprietary strategy published by George C. in 1995.
- Uston Advanced Plus-Minus
A Level 1, balanced strategy optimized for betting found in Ken Uston's
Million Dollar Blackjack, Gambling Times Inc., 1981.
- Uston APC An advanced,
Level 3, balanced strategy with a large number of indexes optimized
for Playing Efficiency. This is one of the more complex card counting
strategies. More complex than most people think needed. Found in Ken
Uston's Million Dollar Blackjack, Gambling Times Inc., 1981.
- Uston SS An advanced, Level
3, unbalanced strategy optimized for betting. This is a proprietary
strategy developed by Ken Uston, Arnold Snyder and Sam Case found in
The Uston SS Count, Gambling Times Inc., 1986.
- Wong Halves An advanced,
Level 3, balanced strategy, using fractions and optimized for betting
found in Professional Blackjack, Pi Yee Press, 1975, rev. 1994.
- Zen Count An advanced,
Level 2, balanced Blackjack strategy optimized for betting found in
Arnold Snyder's Blackbelt in Blackjack, RGE Publishing, 1983.
