How Blackjack Works

It should be noted that a back-counter affects the advantages of all players when he enters the table. If you enter the table only when the count is high, then high counts are shared by more players and the frequency of rounds that start with high counts decreases. The fewer the number of players at the table, the greater this effect. This is why the red bars increase in height with the number of players. Also note that unbalanced strategies, like REKO, act very differently when you are Wonging due to the fact the count generally increases the deeper you travel into the shoe. For the same conditions, but playing all hands and using a spread of 1-15, the win rate would be 24 cents per hand. However, this is a much higher spread than that used when wonging. With a 1-4 spread, used in the wonging sims, playing all hands would only result in 4 cents per hand. Effect of Entry Point The second chart is like the first chart, except here we only play hands at a FELT count of +4 or greater instead of +2 or greater (equivalent to a six-deck REKO count of 0 or Hi-Lo count of +2). This allows us to play at a greater advantage. However, as we can see from the chart, we will play significantly fewer rounds. When you enter the table depends on the exact circumstances found in a casino.
