Single-deckThe single-deck chart below displays the same methods of playing insurance for 13 to 26 cards cut-off. The chart indicates a far greater effect when using cover insurance in a single-deck game. Heavy insurance cover is not advised when playing single-deck. You may wish to play insurance correctly when you are reasonably certain that no one is watching, and increase cover otherwise.

Another method of insurance cover is to bet the table minimum when the count does not call for insurance. For example, place a low insurance bet when you have a Blackjack on a low count. The cost is very low and may fool the eye-in-the-sky since they see that the bet is made, but do not see the amount.
